Job Description
- Creating world geometry and composition for levels in Unreal Engine
- Working with LD to terraform the world to create worlds that are both fun to play and fits the artistic vision of the game
- Effectively producing playable levels based on Art directors vision and Level design needs with lead cooperation
- Working with Producer to manage LA team's schedule and give feedback on world art
- Mentors other Level Artists on team
Qualifications
- 5 years of experience in creating world geometry for levels
- Experience working with Unreal Engine
- Experience with designing layout, asset breakdown, terraforming and set dressing
- Experience creating high quality creative/visual aesthetics as well as technical knowledge
- Experience leading and mentoring a team
- Ability to adapt with guidance and improve, new styles, techniques, and workflows
- Basic understanding of the color theory
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
- Open-minded team player attitude
- Strong work ethic and self-motivated
- Passionate about playing and making video games
