ABOUT MEGAZEBRA
At MegaZebra we have successfully crafted category-leading games for more than 10 years. We develop our own original titles, and develop games based on “Hollywood”-IP such as Desperate Housewives - The Game. By combining technology, game-design, art, analytics, and bringing together passionate people from around the globe we have repeatedly been able to produce hit games. We are based in Munich/Germany and Montréal/Canada.
We develop all our games in small and vibrant teams. Each team has a high degree of responsibility and creative freedom for their game and is committed to creating something outstanding. For our studio in the heart of Montréal’s gaming scene, we are now looking for an experienced Lead Game Designer.
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop game-design concepts for video-games on mobile platforms
- Write specifications for games and features
- Work with game-teams on the execution of your game-design documentation
- Create pitches for new games
- Evaluate KPIs in order to improve games and/or individual features (together with game-analytics)
- Analyze and assess target audiences (together with marketing)
- You will lead our game-design team and work directly with management, producers, artists, software developers, marketing, and game-analytics
YOUR PROFILE
- You have 6+ years of experience in game-design
- You have shipped several successful games, preferably mobile casual games
- You understand the concepts and mechanisms of free-to-play (f2p) games
- You are a data-driven person, constantly analyzing metrics to improve KPIs
- You strive to deliver the best possible user experience in everything you do
- You are familiar with the current games market and consumer expectations
- You demonstrate the right mix between creativity and technical aptitude
- You have an eye for detail and quality
- You are open-minded, flexible and self-motivated
- You have excellent English language skills
