Lead Game Data Analyst - Casual Games

Voodoo is creating a small experimentation team with a big mission: find the next best way to entertain the world by taking our best hits to a new level.

You will be one of the first members in a team of six and you will participate in every aspect of development, from ideation to testing the casual games in the market.

We are looking for a hands-on Lead Data Analyst with a proven track record contributing to the improvement and growth of casual games, in particular puzzle games.

The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates in European time zones.

• You will lead all analytics efforts to bring our flagship game Block Jam 3D to the next level of success.
• You will work with a team of data analysts and define the roadmap and priorities to bring our analytics operations to the highest standards.
• You will be a reference to your peers and lead multiple analytics verticals such as game content, economy or live ops.
• You will be a key leader in a small team, with a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on one of Voodoo’s strongest games.

Profile

• At least 5 years of analytical work experience in the gaming, tech or a data-driven industry, with a proven track record working in close connection with product teams.
• At least 3 years of experience working on a free-to-play puzzle game on a wide range of topics (e.g. game economy, content analytics, monetisation).
• Proficient with SQL and either R or Python, with a proven experience working with large and complex data sets.
• Good knowledge of statistical analysis and concepts used for industry-standard methods like AB testing.
• Autonomous person with a strong analytical mind, problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail.
• Ability to understand a business problem, turn it into an analytics/statistics problem and solve it using adequate methods.
• Highly pragmatic mindset with the ability to quickly identify what needs to be focused on and what can be considered of lower priority.
• Capacity to be the pro-active owner of the entire data chain for your game(s)
