Based in the heart of Leamington Spa, Pixel Toys have spent over a decade pushing the capabilities of mobile gaming. We have developed multiple award-winning titles, including: Warhammer 40,000: Freeblade and Warhammer Age of Sigmar: Realm War. The Role:
We are on the hunt for a Lead Programmer to join our team and contribute to the development of key systems in the client codebase of our exciting and ambitious game. As a Game Client Programmer, you will work closely with various teams to create new features and enhance existing ones and be responsible for leading a team of talented game programmers in order to deliver one of the most entertaining, performant and best looking mobile games on the market.
This is an exciting time to be a part of a dynamic project, where you will play a vital role in shaping the Meta-Game of our latest title. You will be responsible for leading the team in designing and implementing the systems, mechanics and loops that players will engage with to progress through the game.

About you:
As an accomplished creative problem solver you will bring a wealth of experience in game development to your team, as well as a deep understanding of the Agile development lifecycle. With skills in C# and Unity as well as substantial knowledge in coding processes, standards and methodologies, you will be confident in setting and managing expectations throughout the project.
Line management experience is essential , as in an ability to mentor others and effectively set goals and expectations.
While certainly not essential, any experience working on Mobile titles or with the Unity Editor would also be advantageous.
