Job Description
Job Summary:
The role will act as the main point of contact for employee learning and development needs. It will oversee all employee training projects while ensuring management and implementation of best practices and processes. It will be responsible for all training activity administration and logistics and also see to the ongoing improvement and supervision of existing training programs for their relevant groups. The role is responsible for the planning and implementation of the talent development strategy within the studio.
The responsibilities will evolve as the roles shape up with business evolution.
Job Responsibilities :
- To identify training and development needs within the organisation through analysis of job and in line with requirements from business and HR
- To design and facilitate training and development programmes based on the needs of the organization
- Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts to create and design training content
- Design and facilitate delivery of training content covering areas of technical, systems, procedural and soft skills as required
- Develop a strong relationship with key members of various business communities within the studio
- To develop effective induction programs
- Provide creative solutions in supplying the training and development of people
- Identify gaps in existing training material and structure and proactively offer solutions
- Reviewing the effectiveness of all training sessions and working on continuous improvement
- Develop processes to measure/evaluate the effectiveness of the training to ensure it is constantly being improved and refined to meet the needs of the individual and the business
- Assess the training programs and activities to ensure they meet identified needs
- Facilitate training sessions as required
- Facilitate collaborative sessions to maximize discussion and sharing information amongst key members in the community
- Stay up-to-date on new trends and practices in video games as well as best practices within talent development
- Draft budget estimates for training activities and follow up on and assign costs
- Carry out administrative and coordination tasks including but not limited to training event attendance, generating reports, maintaining LMS, and processing paper and electronic documents
- Implement new learning programs to foster the growth and evolution of the studio
- Ensure the relevance of the various development means and their alignment with employees’ needs (training, e-learning, development plan, conferences, succession planning etc.)
- Manage the knowledge and community sharing programs to foster expertise sharing and supporting job community improvement such as role/responsibilities/skills required etc.
These responsibilities are not limitative and can be modified to reach the company’s goals and objectives as well as personal performance.
Reporting & Stakeholder Management:
- Direct Reporting : To HR Director, Ubisoft India
- Will work closely with the other functions within HR (TA, HR operations, C&B, L&D, HRBP’s), Business Heads and other members in top management
- Will partner closely with stakeholders on strategy and execution on L&D requirements and Projects as necessary
Qualifications
Required Skills/Abilities :
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven effective management skills. Strong interpersonal and team-building skills
- Proven ability to create structured training material
- Excellent analytical skills & presentation skills
- High level of organization and attention to detail required. Project Management skills including planning and execution capability
- Relationship management and consulting skills
- Collaboration skills
- Time management skills with the ability to work around tight deadlines
- Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software
- Proven ability to create structured training material
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor's/Masters degree in HR
- 5-7 years of experience in HR with sound experience in L&D
- Good understanding of human behavior, as well as business management, operations and strategy.
