Junior Software Engineer

The opportunity

Are you enthusiastic about catching things before they break and have a passion for engineering and quality? We want you to join our quality engineering team to help support our thousands of customers who use unity. You will help Unity stay one step ahead in ensuring quality, whilst maintaining speed and ability.

In this role, you'll get the opportunity to collaborate with other teams around Foundation, the part of Core Engineering at Unity. Your work will ensure the various pieces fit together and deliver the best customer experience. A curiosity about the testing craft combined with the desire to learn would set you up for success in this team.

What you’ll be doing

• Collaborate with a distributed team of engineers and QAs on testing activities
• Analyze bugs, find their causes and provide more detailed information to developers
• Work with customers to reproduce their bug reports in-house
• Implement various improvements through different stages of development
• Modify and improve existing scripts/frameworks/test code

We’re looking for someone who

• Is currently enrolled in a relevant Bachelor or Master’s degree program
• Has some knowledge of C/C++/C#
• Has excellent communication mastery and a good level of English
• Cooperates well with customers and colleagues
• Is self-motivated and able to work independently
