Junior Software Engineer

We are looking for a software engineer who has a passion for games. You love games and you love code. You will bring fun, engaging, monetizing game experiences to life with empathy for players and close coordination with designers. The successful candidate will be eager to learn and grow alongside our rapidly evolving studio and games.

This is a full-time, remote position.

A Junior Software Engineer’s impact:

• Work with designers and engineers to help deliver game features
• Contribute to discussions with art and design teams to shape the game and the code
• Improve the software development life-cycle through tools and automation
• Optimize performance for mobile platforms
  

Your track record includes:

• Experience working with Unity or another game engine
• Demonstrated ability to build games
• Application of software engineering principles to game development
• Exposure to different programming languages (SQL, Rust, Javascript) and paradigms is a plus
• Backend experience is a plus
  

$60,000 - $70,000 CAD per year.

This base salary range is specific to candidates located in British Columbia. The salary offered to the successful candidate will be determined based on factors including but not limited to skills, experience, education, qualifications, and location.
