Junior PR & Influencer Manager MMO

Job Summary:
Working within the German Marketing team, the Junior PR & Influencer Manager MMO is a talented storyteller, a passionate gamer, and a communication talent. Knowing how to get to the point, inspiring other people and making and maintaining contacts with journalists and influencers for Final Fantasy XIV across DACH, Eastern Europe and Middle East regions is the central focus of this role.
Requirements
Key Deliverables:
- Commit to an always-on PR mentality, developing individual PR strategies in the areas of online, TV, radio & print while working together with our PR agencies.
- Identifying, recommending, and establishing best practices for working with paid and organic content creators to further increase awareness for FFXIV in highly relevant target audiences.
- Setting up and maintaining contact and distribution lists while constantly expanding the network.
- Planning and executing media trips, trade fairs and events.
- Planning, executing, and reporting press releases.
- Documentation, monitoring, and reporting on all relevant KPIs to keep all stakeholders in the loop.
- Under the leadership of the Senior Marketing Manager, execute the PR & Influencer strategy and ensure costs/results are fully and accurately tracked & reported.
- Brainstorm new and creative growth strategies with the Marketing Team.
- Regularly connect with the wider territory teams for exchange of information, learnings and sharing success stories.

Marketing Director, Senior Marketing Manager, Western PR Director, Executive Director Publishing, GM EU Commercial & Publishing, Sales team, PR Team, Influencer Relations team, Distributor Partners, Project Teams, Finance Department, Creative Services Studio, Analytics team, Community teams, Development Team, Japanese Promotional Team.
Knowledge & Experience:
Essential:
- Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal in German and English
- Proven track record working in the field of communication in the past
- Experience of working with content creators, building external relationships, and delivering strong results
- Strong communication, analytical and data-driven thinking skills
- Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in organic reach
Desirable:
- Experience working in an PR/Influencer agency or with PR/Influencer agencies
- Core player of FFXIV with deep knowledge of the game
- Prior experience marketing games or services in EMEA market
- Keen interest in and knowledge of video games
- Interested in and knowledgeable about technology

Desirable:
- Interest in leading projects and initiatives
- Understanding of Japanese video games and the global video games market
- Additional languages (European and/or Japanese) a plus, but not required
