Junior Live QA Tester

Job Description

Job Responsibilities:

· To Act as POC (Point of contact and central mode of communication) in all issues reported by Live Quality Assurance and more teams involved in the post launch effort of our games.

· To Search, identify, reproduce and document issues encountered in the LIVE environment. This also includes regular tracking of issues for activity and regression. This further extends to provide assistance to the QC teams when requested to aid in isolation of issues.

· Centralize game transversal readings, provide feedback on game experience (especially with regards to the new features), and summarize all bug related information in daily and weekly reports.

· Maintain Issue trackers and trends along-with the game's unique transversal data on Live QA confluence portal

· Participate in Regular calls/ meetings so as to inform the interested stakeholders on the most important issues currently affecting the game

· Be solution oriented so as to analyze end-user impact and cause of an issue and thereby prioritize daily work.

· Assist the Customer Support and Community Management teams by isolating issues encountered by users and providing feedback on the experience of the live game.

· Provide support to the development team by performing regular checks/tests on the game’s latest update in the live environment. Extend this support to perform monetization tests on a live build scenario

· Maintain a good collaboration with the Internal Mobile QCC and the HQ representatives in Pune Studio in terms of information sharing and tasks assignation.

· Remain updated with the latest Game design on the titles worked upon so as to perform checks on the game’s main features on Live Environment

· Remain vigilant of the metadata (descriptive content) of catered projects displayed on the 1st party platform’s store and also on Ubisoft Store so as to remain updated of the availability of offers for the released title

· Perform monetization tests on all platforms whenever necessary.

Qualifications

· Very good skills in organization, planning with methodical approach to testing.

· Excellent communication (written and verbal) of English language;

· Thorough Knowledge of issue management database software (JIRA in particular) and correspondingly good issue tracking and management

· Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (MS Office and MS Outlook);
