Job Description
As a Game Economy Desginer you will work continuously in the Low level monetization design, execution and aim to boost KPIs related to engagement & monetization on your project.
Your main challenges include:
- Being responsible of the in-game economy, currency balances, content consumption speed and player’s progression.
- Design progression and meta systems and iterate on them based on data.
- Design expected progression models in excel in order to predict player progression within the game before it is actually in the market.
- Help in the data tracking definition of the game to ensure that the needed information to perform analysis is properly tracked.
- Design player profiles so that economy balancing and progression can be properly tested before release. Follow up on results.
- In live games, define and perform continuous analysis about the in-game KPIs in order to monitor the economy health of the game and propose next steps to improve the KPIs.
- Stay up to date with the competition. Share within the team top trends in F2P in terms of monetization, systems design, economy design and balancing.
Qualifications
Requirements:
- 1 year of experience as Game Economy Designer or Game Balancer.
- Strong Analytical and formal thinking, able to break problems down in their key variables and identify the relations between them.
- Understanding of F2P economies in the studio related genres.
- Strong econometrics skills, able to model problems into quantitative systems, and draw qualitative conclusion out of quantitative date.
- Master Excel.
- Complete fluency in English, both written and orally.
- Passion for games on any platform!
Bonus Points:
- Knowledge in behavioral economy.
- Experience in UX / UI
