Job Description
As a Game Community Manager, you will report directly to the Marketing Lead & integrate a group of passionate marketing experts dedicated to bringing to life & nurturing gamer communities.
In this role, you will be responsible for being a key point of contact for the Asphalt 9: Legends Community, one of our flagship titles which boasts a sizeable, extremely engaged community and will go through a pivotal year as we release Asphalt Legends Unite, our largest ever expansion. We are currently aiming to increase our communication and transparency levels with the community even further, and we need you to help carry out this purpose.
Job scope and responsibilities:
- Track & analyze community & content performance KPIs along with Community Feedback - draft & share reports on a regular basis.
- Assist in developing editorial content to support the community & enrich their experience out-game: patch-notes, blogposts, newsletters etc. & report on the performance of this content.
- Coordinate UGC programs for your game (e.g Content Creator Program, hashtag challenges, community contributions board etc.)
- Interact with the community on a regular basis, be aware and report on their mood, and maintain a roadmap to inform them of upcoming events and feature
- Conducting benchmarks & trends observations & be a proactive source of ideation for the Game’s marketing team.
- Proactively taking part in the elaboration of the marketing plans for your game, ensuring that all digital marketing & social marketing touchpoints are addressed in the most effective way and predicting community reactions to help identify potential pain points early.
- Proactively identify & propose innovating solutions & projects which will set your game apart from our direct & indirect competition Identify opportunities for Gameloft to craft unique experiences for their game’s players in-game & out-game (e.g contests, community collaborations, platform collaborations etc.).
Qualifications
- 1 to 2 years' experience in a similar role or moderating communities (Discord, Forums).
- Experience building and/or growing a community on owned platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Discord...)
- Strong knowledge of community and moderation tools.
- Experience producing editorial content for SNS
- Fluent in English, both written & spoken.
- Positive energy, team spirit & a zest for fun are a must.
You should be a gaming savvy confirmed digital marketeer, with a deep understanding of the power of communities in the gaming realm. While it is not necessary that you have prior experience with racing games in particular, it is absolutely imperative that you play games yourself.
PASSION is the key! For this position, we expect you to be a passionate & tech-savvy social media marketeer with an understanding of the importance of communities within a game’s lifecycle. We cannot emphasize this enough: you will be the representative of Gameloft to the community, and of the community to Gameloft, and it will be your responsibility to ensure players are well informed and engaged, and that their voice is heard.
