Junior Financial Controller - Internship

Requirements

We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller to join our growing global Finance team.

This role will be based in Madrid and will be supporting the Financial Controlling team for an initial 6-month remunerated internship.

We just need you to be motivated and willing to learn and grow in an exciting, challenging, dynamic and fast-changing international environment! Also, we´ll have to arrange an internship agreement with your university.

• Monthly Financial Reporting Package – EU subsidiaries.
• Budgeting and Forecasting.
• P&L analysis per business line, client, target, and project.
• Staff Cost review, analysis, and reporting.
• Intercompany relationship.
• Ad-hoc reports.
• Processes optimization.

Skills & Experience Required

Technical skills

• Degree in Accounting & Finance, Audit, Business Administration or equivalent.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills, other languages would be an asset.
• Good knowledge of Spanish GAAP. IFRS is a plus.
• Proficiency in Excel. Power Query and Power BI is nice to have.
• Experience with any Accounting ERP is welcome. NetSuite is a plus.

Soft skills

• Enthusiastic, curious, ambitious, and self-motivated.
• Proactive and problem solver attitude. We’ll try everything at least once. :)
• Strong work ethic and team spirit. Achieving results is great, but achieving results with the team is simply the best.
• Commitment attitude.
• Organized and analytical mind.
• Prior working experience would be a plus even in a different industry and position.
