Junior Engine Programmer

Coconut Lizard are looking for a Junior Engine Programmer to join our team where we work on Sea of Thieves in Partnership with Microsoft Game Studios Rare Ltd.

Main responsibilities include:

• Implement new core engine systems
• Alter existing core engine systems

Requirements

Skills we think you should have:

• Very good c++ knowledge
• Strong math skills
• Ability to estimate task schedules/dependencies
• Knowledge of existing optimisation techniques
• Ability to write scalable, portable and effecieint code
• Very good problem solving skills

Skills we'd like you to have:

• Experience with low level CPU or assembly programming
• Experience with performance analysis tools
• Ability to decipher and understand complex systems
• Experience with multithreaded development
