Junior Development Tester

Job Description

Junior Development Tester will be responsible for testing producers and work during different phases of game development process, to ensure the final quality of the game.

What you will do

• Be responsible to design, create, maintain, and review the Test Plan & Cases.
• Be responsible to perform validation to the deliveries and secure good quality.
• Be responsible to execute the specific test and create validation reports to highlight the state of game/feature to dev team.
• Write and maintain documentation, detailing defects found and their sources.
• Define the testing dependencies for dev testing wise. Provide reasonable solutions to the dev team.
• Handle the defect tracking and risk assessment in production, Become the monitor of the defect influence in Dev Team.
• Meet with the development team to discuss progress, provide your creative input, etc.
• Improve the testing efficiency and quality by enhance testing workflow and method.
• Be responsible to prepare, setup and onsite support to the internal and external game review/playtest.
• Maintain a good partnership with internal & external teams, define the features’ testing expectation to serve for final deliveries quality.

• 负责执行特定测试并创建验证报告，以向开发团队强调游戏/功能的状态。
• 编写并维护文件，详细说明发现的缺陷及其来源。
• 设定测试流程的依赖项，为开发团队提供合理的解决方案。
• 处理生产中的缺陷跟踪和风险评估，成为开发团队中缺陷影响的监督者。
• 与开发团队会面，讨论进展，提供创造性意见等。
• 通过改进测试流程和方法，提高测试效率和质量。
• 负责内部和外部游戏审查/测试的准备、设置和现场支持。
• 与内部和外部团队保持良好的合作关系，定义功能的测试预期，以服务于最终交付的质量。

Qualifications

• Solid experience in game industry/software testing experience.
• Good Gaming experience of Mobile or Cross-play games.
• Good Chinese and English writing and speaking level.
• Good interpersonal and strong communication skills and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility and ability to adapt to change.
• Handle at least 1 defect tracking tool (JIRA, TAPD…), 1 code control tool (P4V, SVN).
• Master the MS Office software (Outlook, Excel, World…).
• Passion for video or mobile games, commitment to quality and deliver best experience to players.
