Data Engineer

Madbox is a mobile gaming company, creating and publishing its own games worldwide. Since 2018 Madbox has gathered more than 300 million players, still growing. We are looking for top talents with mad skills, a mad passion and a mad ambition to join us.

We are looking for a Data Engineer to take ownership of our Data Infrastructure, contribute to new implementations, design Architecture and Data Models.

- Starts by Onboarding on our entire Data Stack both Technically (GCP, streaming, big data) and Business Logic wise.

- Work closely with another Data Engineer, Data Scientists, the Analytics team and the Growth team.

- Interact directly with the business users and design the data solutions for their requirements.

- Help creating the Data Engineering roadmap including internal infrastructure and robustness projects as well as solutions for Madbox business requirements.

- Meet Madbox different departments and key business entities.

- Work with the PM to align all projects with the business needs, OKRs and priorities. Agree on the deliverables work plan.

- Take an active part on the daily standup meetings to report your progress and present your ideas.

- Full accountability on the end-to-end data pipelines you implement

- Data cleansing and Unit testing

- Full transparency on all issues raised during your work

- Great communication skills to explain your solutions and interact with the other Data team members and business stakeholders.

- Manage efficiently parallel tasks, being always on top of the weekly work plan

-Fast Onboarding on the existing stack

- Embed DQA in the pipelines and take ownership of the production quality of the data model

- Be proactive, keep proposing improvements to the tech stack, monitor and optimise costs

Profile

• At least 2 years of experience in data engineering in a similar environment - streaming, mobile industry
• Full accountability on the end-to-end data pipelines you implement
• Data cleansing and Unit testing
• Full transparency on all issues raised during your work
• Great communication skills to explain your solutions and interact with the other Data team members and business stakeholders
• Manage efficiently parallel tasks, being always on top of the weekly work plan
• Fast Onboarding on the existing stack
