Community Assistant

Rockstar Games is looking for a dedicated Community Assistant to join the team at our NoHo NYC office, working with and supporting the Rockstar Community Team. Responsibilities will include helping to produce a wide variety of community-related reporting, direct consumer response, writing, editing, and helping to manage our online content, social media activity, involvement in community engagement, moderation, assisting with live streams and gameplay recording sessions, and more.
The candidate should possess extensive knowledge of current Rockstar titles, excellent organizational skills, razor sharp messaging finesse, a meticulous eye for detail, creative and analytical writing skills, and have a serious passion for videogames and internet culture.RESPONSIBILITIES
- Create and distribute reports to internal teams on community engagement, sentiments, and social media metrics. Track and analyze content, consumption, growth, and other statistics.
- Help generate content for Rockstar social media channels and the Rockstar Newswire.
- Directly respond to consumer inquiries and feedback.
- Maintain a consistent presence and friendly environment across all communication channels.
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to cultivate our community.
- Assist the Community Directors in providing support to the wider marketing and PR teams for assets, messaging and events as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Professional experience in social media and community management or a related field.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Highly self-motivated and proactive with ability to work both with minimal supervision and as part of a team environment.
- Strong planning, project management, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work swiftly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- The ability to keep a level head and maintain grace under pressure.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Interest and initiative to innovate Rockstar’s social media practices and bring them to the next level.
- Working knowledge of HTML, Premiere Pro and Photoshop a plus.
- Knowledge of and passion for Rockstar Games titles.
