The role:
The Japan Marcom Manager is responsible for the planning and local execution of campaigns and reports to the Director of Regional MarCom.
Remit includes the ideation and creation of branded activations in market that address campaign narratives and objectives, utilizing local player & market knowledge. Also partnering with the local commercial & engagement teams, as well as the APAC Campaign Manager & Head of Engagement APAC.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execution of culturalised campaigns across Packaged Good (PG) and Digital (DD) games that connect with local players & deliver against Japan Publishing goals
- Deliver regular cadence of activation results for campaigns
- Deliver local market and player insights for EA products
- Drive the live service campaigns maximizing player engagement through the funnel right along the product life cycle
- Deliver brand and marketing strategy and shape the go-to marketing plan with SEGA
- Manage day to day marcom communication with SEGA (Japan distributor) for EA packaged good products
- Manage Weekly marketing meeting with SEGA and deliver regular updates for PG titles, and monthly marketing report
- Collaborate with local football league(J-League) to manage an annual marketing program
- Budget tracker management all titles
- Marketing campaign planning & execution delivering against Japan publishing goals
- Driving culturally relevant marketing programs that acquire & engage Japanese players
- M&A budget tracking & reconciliation
Required Skills:
- Marketing principles & tools
- Stakeholder management
- CFX team leadership, ideally working with remote cross-functional teams
- Experience in a CFX team delivering an interactive entertainment title launch
- Project management of initiatives including fluid reporting
- Worked in a team responsible for long-term marketing campaigns with international remit
- Worked in a live service environment
- Proficient Japanese and English language capabilities
