As the Inventory Cycle Counter you will be responsible for assisting in the cycle count process across the Australian Integration Centre by cycle counting all inventory on a schedule and investigating discrepancies. You will help understand stock variances and implement process improvements. This position will also play a key role in building relationships with internal support groups and in the execution of inventory strategies to improve efficiencies and reduce variance. Working collaboratively across the Integration Centre organisation, you will drive site excellence and contribute to the success of the organisation.
Some key responsibilities include:
- Conduct daily inventory cycle counts per company requirements
- Analyse, document, and resolve inventory variances
- Identify process breakdowns that cause discrepancies between physical and perpetual inventory
- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly reports for cycle count highlights, trends and improving visibility on inventory management.
- Perform physical and system disposition of obsolete and excessive Inventory when required
- Prepare and participate in inventory audits with our internal and external financial business partners
- Coordinate timely inventory transaction support to ensure the smooth running of daily operations across the Integration Centre
What We're Looking For
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment with strong understanding of inventory processes and supply chain management
- Valid forklift licence is essential
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite in particular Microsoft Excel skills with proven experience in completing V look ups and Pivot tables
- Ability to communicate and interact with all staff at all levels
- Be a team player who is a problem solver and approaches challenges in an innovative and collaborative manner
- Strong attention to detail and data analysis
This role will be based in at our Integration Centre located in Greystanes. Working hours will be Monday to Friday 6:00am - 2:00pm.
