ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are looking for a talented Internal Communications Manager to help us in our HQ office in Sherman Oaks. The Internal Communications (“IC”) Manager primary focus is to ensure Xsolla team members feel connected to the mission, the organization, their work and each other. By developing a thoughtful, multi-channel internal communication approach, the IC Manager will streamline communication across the organization, break down communication barriers, increase team member awareness, and foster meaningful employee engagement.
CORE JOB FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist with the evolution and implementation of an internal communications strategy.
- Ensure team members are connected with and engaged in the mission by successfully communicating organizational initiatives, updates and projects.
- Manage internal communications channels and manager distribution list (s).
- Work closely with leadership, management and employees across the organization to gather, craft, and distribute meaningful information to the organization.
- Plan, edit and write timely content for a variety of internal communications mediums.
- Develop the creation, design, and layout of content regarding Xsolla’s internal communications.
- Produce storyboards and translate ideas to the content creation team.
- Align internal messaging with external messages for cohesive and comprehensive organization communication.
- Help build internal communication response to crisis situations which affects organizational perception.
- Ability to acknowledge cultural diversity across teams, departments, and facilities and transcend communication barriers.
- Maintain sensitive and confidential work product(s).
- The ideal candidate will be a skilled storyteller with a knack for interpersonal skills and a passion for creating experiences. The role will build a strong culture of collaboration to create experiences that engage, connect and inspire Xsolla’s community of employees.
Knowledge/Education/Experience
Required
- Proficiency with Google Suite.
- Experience utilizing Adobe Creative Suite.
- At least 2 years of experience in Communications, Media Studies, Advertising, or related fields.
- Innovative self-starter and problem solver.
- Effective oral, written, and interpersonal communicator.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Preferred
- Minimum of five years of experience working in Communications. Industry knowledge experience is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Communications, Public Relations, Business or related field.
- Proficiency with Google Workplace measurement tools and internal/external communications channels
- Develop sustained metrics to assess ongoing effectiveness of communication and provide reporting on a regular cadence.
- Partner with internal teams to develop toolkits, templates and effective processes to streamline workflow.
