Your journey at Madbox as a QA Intern :
- Start with an onboarding on our games and stack for you to be familiar with Madbox’s hits and other top performing games on the market
- Meet the entire team you will be working with (QA & game production teams)
- Learn as much as possible about MadBox’s culture
- Contribute to maintain a high level of quality for our games.
What will we expect from you ?
Test
- Follow test plans on all aspects of a game (purchases, core gameplay, side gameplay, notifications…)
- Update the various test plans according to version changes
- Write a new part of a testplan for a new feature OR an entire new testplan for a new game
Bugs management
- Complete bug reporting templates with relevant screenshot/videos, the reproduction steps, the environment (build, device, OS version)…
- Check bug fixing once developers finish it
- Follow-up bug tickets from the backlog
Investigating
- Help developers by trying to find more accurate reproduction steps for a given bug
- Reproduce a bug that a player reported in order to define its extent
- Have an open-mind and think about a range of potential leads to a bug resolution
Performances monitoring
- Monitor high-level data on game crashes
- Consult game reviews on the store pages or on Discord
Knowing Google classic tools (Sheet, Docs, Slides), Notion (testplans, documentation, bug reporting) and Slack (communication) are a plus.
Madbox is the right place for you if you :
- Are passionate about mobile game industry
- Can use methodical and logical thinking (to map testing points for instance)
- Are a team player who communicates efficiently and respectfully with other team members
- Are studying in a video game or IT school
- Are interested in taking part in processes improvement, by questionning them and reflecting on new ones
You ideally have experience in Quality Assurance (game or IT), to know how to follow a testplan and fill a bug report template, or notions on game design.
Madbox isn’t the right place for you if you :

Hybrid remote policy: 3 days on site minimum per week + 15 additional working days fully remote per year
