Influencer Manager, India & South Asia (Contract)

As an Influencer Manager you will lead our efforts to inspire and engage players and enthusiasts across all Riot games by building and growing relationships with passionate local creators and their audiences. You will be responsible for creating and implementing the influencer strategy by building meaningful and impactful relationships with the influencer community. As an ambassador to content creators across India and South Asia you will seek out and develop new talent, and you will celebrate and support leading figures in the community. You will work in a collaborative environment with various internal teams and influencers to create the content and best practices to further Riot’s vision of being the most player-focused game company in the world.

As a Rioter in India, you’ll join a team of bright, motivated individuals who share a passion for delivering world-class player experiences to gamers in the region. This role will report to the Marketing Lead - India & South Asia, and will be based in Mumbai.

Responsibilities:

• Build connections with influencers and community creators who are making groundbreaking content for players in India and South Asia.
• Help influencers and community creators increase their audience, and support them in creating content that delights audiences and players
• Build and implement the influencer & social media strategy that supports the specific needs of each product in the Riot portfolio
• Collaborate with brand managers to maximize product excitement through influencers and social media channels like YouTube, Discord, and Instagram
• Report on the health of creator ecosystems, advising on best practices and program iterations at Riot
• Analyze social media impact and track progress and data across projects
• Represent Riot the content creator space, building our reputation as great partners and outstanding collaborator
• Manage the contracting and and onboarding process for influencers and creators
• Maintain internal database of Indian and South Asian influencers and creators
• Cultivate and promote the Riot culture and values

Required Qualifications:

• 5 years experience in a talent management, relationship building, and community management
• A Bachelor’s degree in Mass Communications, Marketing, or a related field
• Experience in the gaming industry, or is a gamer or a gaming enthusiast
• Experience in communicating with influencers and community creators
• Experience in content and influencer program implementation/management
• Strong understanding of measuring social media and broadcast metrics
• Empathy and understanding for content creators and their craft
• Experience working across India and South Asia
