IT Systems Administrator

Would you like to become a member of the local IT and a pivot element of the Regional IT Team in the international company with a well-established position in the gaming industry? If the answer is yes, here at Keywords Studios we are having a great opportunity for the IT Systems Administrator who will support our local IT team and will be responsible for maintaining, improving, and securing the IT infrastructure of our Katowice Studio. The person will report directly to our local IT Manager and guide the rest of the Local IT Team when and/if necessary. The workplace for our IT Systems Administrator is our Katowice Studio exclusively, remote work shall not be considered for this position.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performing Day to Day Helpdesk responsibilities
- Managing, maintaining and monitoring IT Infrastructure devices and services
- Recommending improvements;
- Maintaining security, backup and redundancy strategies
- Maximizing/optimizing IT Infrastructure performance and ensuring system availability and reliability by performing network maintenance and system upgrades
- Conforming to and enforcing Company’s IT security policies
- Maintaining and improving existing deployment servers and windows update services
- Supervising Active Directory
- Maintaining and implementing GPO policies according to regional and global policies
- Maintaining high levels of IT security through access controls, VPN, backups and firewalls
- Maintaining and performing procedures and ensuring operational tasks are performed reliably and consistently to reduce the risk of unplanned outages
- Maintaining accurate hardware and software inventory
- Communicating effectively with IT support staff to ensure smooth operations in production
- Training and mentoring the other IT team members
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in IT or equivalent technical experience
- 3+ years of IT technical experience
- MS Office 365 (Hybrid environment)
- MS Windows Server 2016-2019 (DNS, AD, DHCP, WSUS, WDS+MDT, RDP, HA Cluster, etc.)
- Experience in managing network devices, routers, switches and firewall (Palo Alto, Dell, etc.)
- File transfer across long distance (SFTP, Perforce, DFS, Aspera, Torrent, etc.)
- Backup (Veeam Backup and Replication)
- Proactive, Self-Starter and able to work independently
- Strong knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within IT industry
- Basic Linux Knowledge
- Ability to learn new concepts and technologies quickly
- Strong documentation and reporting skills
- Good level of spoken and written English (mandatory)
- “Can Do” attitude
- Experience in working in international environment (welcome but not required)
