The IT department at Hardsuit Labs is looking for a Support Technician, one with a passion for games, and one that brings a talent for learning new technologies. This is an excellent opportunity to work beside an enthusiastic IT staff in a successful studio on several competitive, unannounced titles for PC and consoles.
Your primary focus will be assisting your fellow employees with PC, console, and general application issues. Secondary to that will be OS, service, and application deployments, maintenance of said solutions, along with research in new hardware, software, and service-oriented solutions.
Hardsuit Lab’s IT department is a fast-moving organization, where curiosity and the embrace of newer, cutting-edge solutions are well rewarded.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Identifying, researching and resolving technical problems of varying complexity.
- Installs and troubleshoots computer hardware and peripherals.
- Responds to messaging, email, and on-line requests for technical support.
- Patiently communicates with employees across the company.
- Documents, tracks, and monitors work using applicable systems and tools.
- May coordinate with other teams or departments to resolve user problems.
What You’ll Bring
- Troubleshoot and put together high-end desktop gaming PCs
- Understand of DHCP, DNS and other basic level server roles
Nice to Have
- 2+ years of experience working in a help desk environment
- Flexibility to work off hours
- Linux experience
- Have used Jira / Confluence
- WDS or other similar system
The is a full-time, hybrid in-office position, and you will need to be able to lift 40+lbs, assist with labor tasks like wiring, as well as shipping and delivery of hardware.
Employment Eligibility Requirement
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Pay Range for this role is (66,000 - 78,000 DOE)
