Position at Sports Interactive
POSITION OVERVIEW
As an IT Support technician, your role will be the first point of contact for IT support requests and incidents. You will be required to log, triage, resolve and escalate support tickets via our Service Desk system, FreshService. You will be expected to work effectively with a high level of customer service to the internal studio team and remote workers. As a leader in making world class interactive entertainment, you will be exposed to the latest technologies.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record, prioritise, assign and manage all IT requests and incidents made to Sports Interactive IT Service Desk
- Monitor the IT Service Management system for new calls and respond within the agreed first response SLA
- Manage the studio teams’ expectations and communications throughout the lifecycle of each ticket
- Create, Amend & Delete Email & Network Login Accounts within O365 and Active Directory
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues and follow to a resolution
- Assist in the onboarding process of new starters, ensuring that all PCs, laptops, software, peripherals, accounts are working on the first day
- Reimage PCs and laptops for deployment
- Ensure all meeting rooms and equipment are maintained and in optimum working order on a daily basis
- Assist in setting up IT/AV equipment for studio live events
- Add solution articles to the IT Service Management knowledge base
- Assist with office moves
- Liaise with suppliers to organise repairs
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
You will have:
- 6+ months experience in a similar role
- A desire to resolve issues as quickly as possible
- A customer centric approach. Be confident and approachable
- A strong willingness to learn
- A genuine interest in technology and the latest hardware
- Experience installing and supporting Windows and Mac
- The ability to work well within a team
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure
- The ability to prioritise tasks based on variety of factors
- The ability to identify potential issues and resolve them in a proactive manner
