IT Service Specialist

General role description
The IT Service specialist oversees first, second and third line support at the Electronic Arts office in Bucharest. Reporting to the Romania Site IT manager, and working in a local team of ten, primary work tasks include daily support of end-users and maintenance of local infrastructure.
Focus on customer satisfaction is important, being the face of IT at EA and using excellent technical skills to provide IT support.
Work task examples
- Hardware maintenance – both upgrades and faulty replacements
- Provision/track new hardware arriving on-site
- Install and reorganize hardware on site-based on current needs
- Accommodate WFH shipments (both to and from users)
- IT Asset management
- Prioritize helpdesk tickets, monitor email queues
Technical Skills
- Hardware knowledge – Desktop, Laptop, Console
- Active Directory – Understanding of Users, Groups, OU’s, Security
- Operating systems knowledge - Windows, macOS
- End-user Support – Troubleshooting ability

- Follow IT best practice
- Follow industry trends
- Interest in technology
