Sony Interactive Entertainment LLC seeks an IT Security Analyst in San Diego, CA to ensure that system vulnerabilities are properly and timely identified, mapped, tracked, reviewed, and reported to the organization to increase security posture. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, or related field or equivalent, and five (5) years of experience serving as vulnerability management analyst for global information systems, including cloud, on-premise, hybrid and end-point environments. Prior experience must include at least five (5) years of experience implementing configurations and hardening settings for networks, operating systems, applications, databases, and other information system components; working with and evolving the Vulnerability Management toolsets and reporting functionality to provide better vulnerability insight and create effective communications and actionable reporting; automating vulnerability management-related operations and processes through interaction with VM tool and applicable IT systems APIs; providing vulnerability identification, research and analysis, and security validation to deliver effective management and prevention of security risks; and, in executing duties, utilizing vulnerability scanning and testing tools including OpenSSL and Nmap, Windows and UNIX-based operating systems including Windows Server and client OS, RHEL, CentOS and MacOS, Python, shell scripting language, Git version control, HTTP and SSL/TLS protocols, knowledge of networking fundamentals and PCI Data Security Standard.
