The position is to be filled in Bucharest, in the IT department of Ubisoft, and more particularly in the “Collaboration & Communication” team who’s in charge to enrich the digital experience for Ubisoft people around the world through integrated and continuously evolving solutions allowing them to efficiently collaborate, communicate, inspire and connect with each other.
Your role as a Product Owner is to make sure that the products supported by Collaboration and Communication team produce value to its stakeholders and users. The product owner champions the product, facilitates product decisions, has a very clear vision of where the product should be to be used to its fullest potential. You also guarantee cohesion between the different IT teams involved in the projects, business partners and users, and respect to the product roadmap.
Your main mission
- Gather requirements and identify needs with business owners & stakeholders;
- Manage the mid to long-term roadmap, involving stakeholders, clients, and partners;
- Manage the backlog, work on priorities and planning;
- Document stories and tasks details, clarify requirements;
- Define and manage the implementation of functionalities according to business needs and priorities in close collaboration with IT teams;
- Manage and ensure cross-product / roadmap monitoring: risk management, roadblock identifications, etc.;
- Be the referent with the IT teams on the different products to guarantee the business vision;
- Maintain an on-going relationship with the end-users of the tools, gather their feedback;
- Make continuous improvement on the products by taking an interest in what is on the market, in collaboration with the IT teams and by guaranteeing the business needs.
The professional value you bring
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, particularly SharePoint Online and Microsoft Teams;
- Significant experience as Product Owner;
- Product management, project management & business analysis experience;
- Leadership, communication and drive capacity to get the teams involved in your projects;
- Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical parties;
- Good knowledge and experience of Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, ...);
- Strong time-management skills and attention to details, capable of detecting hidden problems and prioritizing, tracking and managing the resolution multiple issues and risks;
- Fluency in English both written and oral. French is not required, but a plus.
