We’re seeking a seasoned IT manager who can join AppLovin’s IT Operations Team to bring his or her technological skillset to make the team more efficient. In this role, you will analyze our current systems and assets, recommend and implement solutions and upgrades, and provide training. Our ideal candidate has extensive knowledge of processes, experience managing staff, and advanced industry knowledge to keep us on the cutting edge.
From day one, you’ll have an immediate impact on the day-to-day efficiency of our IT operations and an ongoing impact on our overall growth. You will work alongside a group of leaders to define the priorities and track the metrics and key performance indicators within the organization as a whole.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Leading a team of IT Engineers
- Recognizing inefficiencies and driving process improvement to enhance productivity
- Maintaining essential IT Operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, MDM solutions, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardware
- Own projects, solutions, and key responsibilities within a larger business initiative
- Coordinating a variety of projects in an operational environment.
- Tracking and maintaining hardware and software inventory
Daily and Monthly Responsibilities:
- Developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and processes
- Hiring, developing, and retaining great talent
- Responding to inquiries, escalations, and establishing partnerships with key stakeholders.
- Responsible for execution of SOX controls
- Analyzing department needs, identifying vulnerabilities, and boosting productivity, efficiency, and accuracy to inform business decisions
- Continuously analyzing the current processes, technologies, and vendors to identify areas for improvement
- Training employees on both software and hardware, troubleshooting, and providing technical support when needed
- Proven ability to operate in an extremely high pressure dynamic fast-paced situations, successfully handling multiple competing priorities, and possessing a high level of discipline while displaying a high degree of flexibility and professionalism
About You:
- 3+ years experience in IT management
- Experience with or knowledge of programming languages (Python, Bash, Ruby)
- Experience with operating systems (macOS, Windows, and Linux), current equipment and technologies, and system performance monitoring
- Proven leadership skills
- Strong creative and analytical thinking
- Established time and project management skills with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously
- Written and verbal communication with the ability to present complex technical information in a clear and concise manner to a variety of audiences.
- Strong background in SaaS productivity and communication tools (GSuite, Slack, OKTA, Atlassian suite)
- Familiarization with IT Service management-related methodologies (ITIL) but with modernization in mind
