About PeopleFun:
PeopleFun is searching for an IT Administrator to join our studio Operations team. When people have technical problems, do they call you? Are you happiest working together as a team to solve tricky systems issues? Are you enthusiastic about helping people? Do you like writing things down to share information instead of explaining it over and over? If so, we want to talk to you.
What you'll be doing
- Prepping and troubleshooting new hardware for Engineers, Artists, Designers and
- Testers to enable them to hit the ground running in their new roles
- Development, support and maintenance of custom Python scripts which automate
- software installs and configuration on new hardware
- Communication with the AppLovin IT staff to keep abreast of new technologies and
- changes to the user setup
- Create and update documentation to make the onboarding process easier for new and
- existing employees
- Atlassian Administration for Jira and Confluence Data Center (training will be provided
- for this secondary role)
- End user support for new employees who need to get their accounts set up
- Manage, maintain and administer software licensing across the studio
- Other ad-hoc studio-wide IT projects and initiatives
Your background
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and can get ideas across in a clear and concise manner
- Experience in Python or another scripting language
- Experience in Jira and Confluence System Administration
- Experience with Systems Administration
- Expertise in MacOS and Windows systems.
- Experience with basic network administration
Bonus points
- Gaming experience, especially mobile
- You are familiar with revision control systems
- Interest in gaming development
