Head of Sales - Japan

- Primarily to generate new business in both video games and other markets within Japan (and possibly within the Asia region depending on the candidate's experience) and also to assist with in territory management of strategic key clients, as required.
- Management of the communication and reporting channels between the Asian sales team and the Senior Director of Sales and Marketing. All communication to Sales Managers located in Shanghai and Korea will be in English.
- Closing sales and exceeding sales targets for PTW International within Japan and Asia.
- Identify and pursue target prospects and prospective clients within Japan.
- Represent PTW’s breadth of services and expertise in the marketplace and relative to its competition.
- Attendance at Trade Shows as required.
- Attend client meetings and deliver sales pitches and presentations.
- Own the proposal generation dynamics and produce quotations in collaboration with the Delivery and Sales Support Teams.
- Maintain a Gap Plan and track achievement against sales target.
- Input all sales activity detail on a regular basis into system.
- Support Senior Management and contribute as part of the Global Sales Team.
- Travel as required.
Requirements
- Sales experience in a B2B Video Game Service environment (at least 10 years).
- Native or Fluent Japanese.
- Basic reading and writing English or higher.
- Ability to creatively and proactively meet and exceed territory sales targets.
- Ability to forecast and manage pipeline.
- Ability to prospect and establish new client relationships and network within an organization.
- Self-motivated and able to work on own initiative.
- Experience of working within a team environment.
- RFP / RFI response management experience.
Must have:
- Experience in selling outsourced services – specifically to Heads of QA, Localization, LQA, Art Production, and Game Co-Development personnel within an organization.
- Capable of generating qualified leads and assess prospect value.
- Strong presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to demonstrate ability to “close” sales.
- Ability to forecast sales opportunities.
- Willingness to work within a multinational environment.
