Head of Learning and Development

Your Mission
We are looking for a Head of Learning and Development to work with a range of individuals from our Executive team to Graduate population to build a culture of learning across Improbable and to own our end-to-end learning and development strategy. You will be expected to develop and maintain strong relationships with external providers, as well as taking responsibility for the design and delivery of bespoke learning solutions.
As part of our People team, you will also be involved in broader aspects of talent management such as how we assess and onboard new hires.
Areas for Impact
- Leading the end-to-end learning strategy for all levels at Improbable;
- Building and developing leadership capability and expertise across the company;
- Carrying out an initial analysis of the capability gaps within the business and identifying appropriate learning and development needs;
- Working with the People team to design an innovative and engaging on-boarding program;
- Working with the broader People team to drive forward the diversity and inclusion agenda at Improbable;
- Being innovative and creative in developing new ways we can grow and progress our employees;
- Using a variety of learning methodologies, techniques, concepts, learning tools & practices to ensure the maximum effectiveness of the learning and impact on the business; and
- Actively seeking feedback and continuously evaluating the return on investment for key learning solutions you implement.
We'd like to hear from you if you identify with the following
- You will likely have a background in psychology
- Prior experience owning and building an L&D function in a fast paced, growing organisation
- Experience delivering across international, multi-office locations
- Proficiency in leading and managing team members
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven and effective presenter and facilitator for groups at all levels of an organisation
- Have the ability to form strong relationships with key stakeholders in the business
