This role is responsible for three strategic pillars:
1) To build a strategic plan enabling us to exponentially grow our international Sandbox VR footprint
2) To expand franchise development, focusing first on Europe
3) To improve operations, profitability, and growth in our core franchise markets
What You'll Do:
- Provide strategic leadership enabling profitable growth of Sandbox VR across international markets.
- Work closely with the SVP of Operations to scale Sandbox VR in priority markets (overseeing a regional pipeline of new / potential franchisees).
- Developing capabilities to drive growth organically as well as through franchisee recruitment, joint-ventures, and M&A opportunities.
- Evaluate market opportunities and conduct optimization studies.
- Lead our franchise business development strategy, collaborating with other departments to enhance the Sandbox VR brand
- Develop, maintain, and utilize regional industries, businesses, governments, consultants, and/or brokerage contacts in on-going business development initiatives.
- Match appropriate franchise expansion models to market based on sound strategies, partner selection criteria, and the ability to accelerate growth.
- Develop, monitor, and manage the annual franchise team revenue forecast and budget.
What We're Looking For:
- We're looking for someone who has at least 8+ years of experience in franchise operations, with a proven track record of strategic operations work in a global franchise organization.
- You should have a quantitative bent - you should know how to read a financial model, and take a metrics driven approach in your franchise operations management. You should be an exceptional communicator both written and orally, and you can distill complex ideas into simple language.
- You may need to travel to other countries 20% of the time.
