We believe China is leading the world in gaming, and that the next generation of game worlds will be developed by the prosperous Chinese Game Development Community. We are looking for talented individuals to join our Shanghai Office, our core hub and headquarters for APAC Operations.
Your mission
Head of Commercial, China, will have responsibility for the commercial success of Improbable’s games business in China.
You will build and lead our Marketing, Business Development, and Sales functions in the region. Your teams will own the customer acquisition process, working to identify and bring on customers and create relationships with all partners - including studios, publishers and other technical solution providers - to realise their visions on SpatialOS.
You will work with our local leadership team and our global Commercial teams to define and drive our commercial strategy in China. You and your team will lead bringing SpatialOS to market in a new region., Your work will fundamentally influence our product - SpatialOS - especially guiding its localization and applicability in a new market.

- Exceptional strategic commercial leader with an outstanding reputationInspirational manager with a history of building high-performing commercial teams.
- A true passion for the Games industry and knowledgeable about China’s game industryOperationally strong, with experience managing distributed sales organisations and building repeatable sales processes.
- Strong networker and natural rapport builder with a solid track record working with C-suite leadership and commercial counterparts.
- Technical savviness, such as competence in areas of cloud computing, distributed computing and *aaS Full professional proficiency or greater in both Mandarin and English.
