HR and Office Assistant

We have a new and exciting opportunity at Outplay for a passionate and dynamic HR & Office Assistant.
Working within the HR team the role is focused on delivering excellent levels of service across multiple areas within HR, recruitment, and studio support.
The ideal candidate is highly passionate and driven to deliver fantastic experiences, both for our team and for all those who interact with us. You will take full responsibility for all administration and support requirements within a busy studio to help support the quality execution of our recruitment, office, and HR objectives.
This is an excellent opportunity to be part of an exciting team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment within the creative sector, it’s a varied role that will provide challenges and opportunities to develop your existing skills.
Areas of delivery
- Support Office & Wellbeing Manager with studio environment including facilities maintenance and layout
- Assist with HR, recruitment, and office administration/support as needed
- Supporting recruitment needs (posting jobs, arranging interviews, etc.)
- Managing communication and gifts for employee celebrations and ad hoc occasions
- Supporting regular company events and activities to promote our company culture and positive team environment
- Keeping the HR system and employee information up to date
- Support in areas including but not limited to: Benefits, health & safety, training, holidays, absence, and payroll
- Support our performance management process
- Ad hoc reports and insights as required
- Managing the onboarding process
- Support ongoing DEI programmes as required
- Arrange travel as needed
- Other duties relevant to the role to assist the HR team as required

- Proficient user of full Microsoft Office applications with the ability to quickly adapt to working with new systems
- Motivated, proactive, and reliable team player

- Proven problem-solving skills
- Highly organised and competent in delivering high-quality support
- Capable of working with high volumes of information and with an eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team
- The ability to excel in building good working relationships across the company
- Pro-active with a hands-on approach and flexible, positive attitude
- Ability to think creatively and to present ideas and information well
- Qualification in relevant field
- Experience providing high-quality support services in a busy and dynamic hybrid environment, including office facility management and servicing remote working
- Values accountability and ownership of delivering on goals
- CIPD qualified or studying towards the qualification
- Interest/passion for gaming and the creative sector
- Internal and external event planning
- Experience in supporting recruitment activities, utilising ATS systems, and posting job adverts and social media content
- Experience with HR systems and software
