HR Project Manager

Ever played a game where you had to strategize, manage resources, and lead a team to victory? If the answer is yes, join us as our HR Project Manager in Funcom Bucharest based studio.

We've got nearly 500 people working and having fun in our five studios, located in Norway, the US, Portugal, Sweden, and Romania. As part of Funcom’s ongoing growth and completing a successful turnaround, Funcom is now backed by Tencent, the largest online gaming company in the world!

Your Mission in Funcom

Funcom’s HR team is facing a series of quests that require careful planning, coordination, and effective resource management.

Your role? You'd be the game master responsible for overseeing and implementing HR initiatives on a global scale, the one who sees the bigger picture, plots the course while syncing with stakeholders, and guides the team to victory, all within budget.

What to expect:

You'll be joining a tight-knit team of 12 HR pros from 6 different countries who have a knack for getting things done, learn from each other, and have fun get-togethers online, but also in-person, once a year, in one of our studios.

What you would do:

Project Planning and Execution

• Craft project plans, outlining objectives for HR projects defined by our Chief HR Officer.
• Architect project timelines and budget considerations, assessing the potential impact.
• Evaluate and sculpt project performance indicators for continuous success.

Communication and Stakeholder Management

• Define the communication and collaboration pipeline, identifying all stakeholders needed to be involved in the HR projects.
• Forge strong communication channels with project partners, providing visibility and updates throughout the project life-cycle.
• Nurture positive relationships with all organizational stakeholders involved in HR initiative implementation.

Project implementation and evaluation

• Embark on your journey of project realization, offering guidance to all local stakeholders and emphasizing clear direction and mentorship.
• Master a framework for continuous feedback, crafting post-mortems, and identifying solutions to enhance HR projects (such as surveys, metrics, etc.).

We are looking for you to have:

• At least 4 years of experience in framing global HR programs and initiatives
• Mastery in English, working in a multicultural environment and with high-level stakeholders
• Deep knowledge of all project management phases
