AntiMatter Games are looking for a talented generalist HR Professional to join their team to support in improving the people experience. The role would suit a HR Administrator or Officer looking for their next steps, an advisor looking to move away from heavy case workload into a smaller company or any HR Professional looking for a more varied role.
The role will be an onsite role based in Truro, Cornwall with Mondays and Fridays working from home optionally.
Duties and Responsibilities
You will be involved in all aspects of the HR function, reporting to the HR manager and working with employees both within the UK and internationally, you will work with key stakeholders to maintain and improve the current HR service level. As a small and growing company, the successful applicant will mainly be involved in all aspects of the employee cycle including organising company events, working with Leads on recruitment and developing their teams. You will work alongside the HR Manager to support in the creation and implementation of an EVP, implementation of our new development framework and review of policy and procedure.
Essential Skills
Good and proven knowledge of UK Employment law
Experience of moderately complex case work
Private sector HR experience
Experience of recruiting and working with recruiters
High standard of written and verbal communication including moderate skills in Microsoft Excel
Great planning skills with attention to detail (the successful candidate should enjoy organising staff events and engaging with the team etc)
CIPD Level 3 qualified or above
Desirable Skills and Knowledge
Multi site or experience of remote employees
Experience of working with non UK based team members
Experience of working with contractors/freelance workers abroad and in the UK.
Experience of Visa processing
Experience of employee forums including D&I
H&S compliance
GDPR compliance
Passion for gaming
