JOB TITLE: HR Coordinator
LOCATION: Brighton, UK

What We Need:
Hangar 13, a new and growing games studio, is looking for an experienced Human Resources Coordinator to help keep our busy HR department organized & processes running smoothly. This person will support an HR Manager and coordinate onboarding/offboarding, payroll processes, benefits administration, policy compliance, and relocation activities. This person will work collaboratively with the HR Manager to review and continually improve the employee experience.
What You Will Do:
- Assists HR Manager with administration of Human Resources policies, processes and procedures; makes recommendations for improvement and changes to maintain highest levels of employee satisfaction
- Supports onboarding process for new employees, including but not limited to performing background checks, coordination of first day activities, delivery of new hire induction, explaining company’s benefit offerings and other new hire processes; performs periodic check-ins with new hires to ensure their continued success
- Assist with inter-company employee transfers and relocations as well as all new hire relocation activities
- Ensures all paperwork for new hires, terminations, and employee changes is received, approved, and filed in a timely fashion
- Utilizes company HRIS to process all job changes
- Carries out monthly audits of timecards and coordination of payroll processes; works closely with corporate Payroll department to ensure timely and accurate management of any discrepancies
- Aids with employee programs, including but not limited to research, coordination of vendors, and communications about program additions or changes.
- Demonstrates a high level of professionalism in dealing with confidential and sensitive issues
- Performs clerical duties including but not limited to scheduling meetings, scanning, and photocopying
- Performs other duties as assigned, including special projects
- Conducts Ad Hoc reporting
Who We Think Will Be A Good Fit:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and 2+ years’ related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2+ years prior work experience in an HR organization and strong HR skills required
- Ideal candidates will have prior experience and understanding of UK human resources principles and practices
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities and workflow, completing projects on or ahead of schedule
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Very proficient computer and internet user.
- Very strong skills on Microsoft Office Suite.
- Acute attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals and cultures at all organizational levels
- Ability to perform diversified clerical functions and basic accounting procedures
- Prior experience with HRIS systems/databases such as Workday a plus
