As Growth Lead, North America, you’ll report into the Director of Marketing for the North America. You will over see the media strategy for driving acquisition, retention, revival and viewership for Riot Games’ in North America. In turn, you’ll direct all paid media spend in the region - overseeing work planned and executed by our teams and agency partners. The role includes close collaboration with NA brand, creative, comms and insights teams on go-to-market plans, performance analysis and long-term strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the media strategy for driving acquisition, retention, revival and viewership for Riot Games’ in North America
- Design and oversee the execution of full-funnel media plans for go-to-market launches, content releases, esports viewership tune-in programs and ad hoc product rollouts
- Make ongoing decisions around Investment, targeting and optimization
- Activate ongoing experiments for incrementally, new formats, channels and media mixes
- Collaborate with team members across the company to form a regional approach to marketing measurement, attribution modeling and martech infrastructure
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in media, brand and performance marketing
- Deep knowledge and years of hands-on work in cross-channel media planning, performance marketing and measurement
- Capable of continual testing to drive innovation and effectiveness across all available channels, partners and formats
- Able to conduct effective analysis, synthesize insights and create actionable takeaways that drive cross-functional decision-making
- History of collaboration with creatives and brand marketers to achieve success
Desired Qualifications:
- Able to rapidly change direction when priorities shift, staying focused on the most relevant project and evolving to get it done .
- Attuned to others emotionally and verbally which helps you resolve conflicts quickly, comfortably , and respectfully. Rising problems can be tackled before they spiral down.
- Proficient at analyzing initiatives under a microscope, methodically dissecting their makeup. You communicate precisely with zero room for misunderstandings, whether via presentation or a quick email
For this role, you'll find success through craft expertise, a collaborative spirit, and decision-making that prioritizes your fellow Rioters, who are the customers of your work. Being a dedicated fan of games is not necessary for this position!
