Group Management Accountant

This role will be core to the group finance function, providing support to the metaverse, games and defence business units, acting as the “glue” between the retrospective and forward-looking financial information.
As a Group Management Accountant, you will be critical to the team’s success, by implementing and leading accounting policy and procedure across the wider Improbable group. You will contribute by providing valuable insight into the numbers driving and leveraging an aptitude for systems and processes to streamline processes across the group.
Your Opportunity:
- Completion of month-end tasks including ownership of ledger reconciliations
- Own and create management accounting dashboards to organise financial data
- Perform P&L analysis on profit margins, operating expenses etc. to ensure business performance is accurately reported
- Collaborate with finance business partners to provide insightful financial information
- Contribute to the development of a strong internal control environment
- Managing and monitoring the integrity of the management and financial data
- Assist in the implementation of streamlined financial processes across the group
Why you're made for this:
- A minimum of 2 years of management accounting experience
- ACCA/CIMA qualified with 2+ years of industry experience
- Demonstrable experience in process implementation
- Excellent Excel skills
- Netsuite experience (preferred)
- Experience using Solution 7 desirable
- A dynamic self-starter with a proactive approach to challenges
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills, and an ability to present data and plans in a clear and concise manner

This role is available as remote, hybrid or in-office. We have a great office space in Spitalfields in London but are equally happy if you'd prefer to work from home, some or all of the time. We are
