About The Role

As our most senior accounting resource you will be responsible for supporting the VP of Finance and CFO in ensuring our consolidated financial performance and position is reported in a timely and accurate manner. You will report to the VP of Finance and work closely with the CFO and other members of the senior leadership team. Main responsibilities include:

• Ownership of all financial reporting across cycles across the group.
• Handling of complex and technical accounting issues (including Capitalisation of development spend, share options and intangibles)
• Implementation and roll out of our selected ERP system (Workday)
• Managing and developing the current accounting team (4 FTEs)
• Designing the accounting infrastructure to support our foreign studios (Spain, Poland & Indonesia).
• Supporting the groups global tax strategy and compliance
• Supporting M&A and other strategic initiatives with due diligence and post-acquisition integration

The role will be very hands-on so passion & drive, as well as experience, are crucial.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• Accomplished Group Financial Controller with 8+ years experience overall post qualified
• Qualified accountant (ACA Big 4 experience preferred)
• Strong technical and consolidation accounting skills (IFRS & UK GAAP)
• PREFERRED - Previous experience working in fast growing Technology & Media business
