Governance, Risk, and Compliance Specialist

Overview

ZeniMax Media is looking for a self-motivated IT professional to join our security team at corporate headquarters in Rockville, MD. We are looking for someone energetic who understands IT infrastructure and can use that knowledge to help with continually improving IT security posture. Our ideal candidate is someone who is a quick learner, a creative problem solver, has strong writing skills, and enjoys working in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Technical writing for communications, standards, and policies
• Perform security assessments and audits
• Complete projects to improve IT security posture
• Track new security threats and coordinate with Global IT team for action
• Audit security compliance on IT systems
• Support external partner program and associated risk management

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience with information systems
• Proficiencies in
• • Windows OS
  • Basic Networking
  • Basic Security Models
  • System Documentation
  • Written Communication
• A keen attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Skills

• IT security and/or systems administration experience
• Security and/or Compliance-related certificates
• Understanding and practical experience in:
  • Windows / Linux security
  • Enterprise security platforms
  • Configuration baselining and management
  • Sensitive data handling
  • Vulnerability management
• Experience with Microsoft365 tools
• Understanding of on-prem and cloud services and infrastructure, including:
  • Encryption
  • Authentication (MFA, SSO, etc.)
  • Logging and monitoring
