Global Strategic Sourcing Sr. Analyst

Summary

What You'll Do

OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Use of statistical methods to analyze data and generate useful business reports to drive the efficiencies
• Identify and recommend new ways to save money by streamlining business processes
• Use data to create statistical models that depict trends in the supply base
• Work with departmental managers to outline the specific data needs for each business method analysis project
• Develop and maintain a centralize data reporting repository that is accessible to all Global Strategic Sourcing team members
• Process lead and coordinator for the annual financial standard cost role process
• Lead responsibility for providing detailed Global Strategic Souring analytical reporting, tools, templates, and forms
• Establish connectivity to key business systems to extract key company data
• Lead and maintain MRP/ERP data warehouse functionality and data parameters for the Sourcing team

KEY RESULTS AREAS (KRAs)

• Analyse product quotation and price variation among platforms and suppliers
• PPV (Purchase Price Variance) goals – cost reduction for direct material PN’s
• Reduction on supplier Lead times
• Working capital Improvement – Supplier Payment terms
• ECO cost tracking and management
• VAVE realization and cost implementation tracking
• NPI cost tracking through development phases
• Drive supply chain initiatives to mitigate EO (excess and obsolete) exposure, product and cost life cycle management
• Manage annualized cost reduction process at CM and sub-tier levels.
• Ensure supplier quotations are managed and stored in accordance with department archival requirements
• Accurate standard cost reporting and implementation
• Centralized Global Strategic Sourcing SharePoint management
• Repeatable Global Strategic Sourcing Data and reporting

What We're Looking For

KEY SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Knowledge in pricing models. Preferable in Contract Manufacturer (CM), EMS or electronic/electrical product.
• Strong command and understanding of data, data validation techniques, and attention to detail
• Strong project management skillset
• Subject matter expert in data analytical tools and reporting i.e. Tableau, Power BI, MS Excel, MS Access, SQL, etc…
• Advanced analytical interpretation of data ad statistics
• Effective communication, reporting and presentation skills
• Strong problem analysis and problem-solving skillset
• Ability to provide technical leadership, coupled with people and project management skills.
• Ability to manage and influence key stakeholder’s relationships
• Self-motivated and driven to achieve results
• Ability to collaborate and work effectively as part of a team
• This role will utilize your critical thinking and communication skills
• Maintain supply chain knowledge and understanding of key market trends and market drivers
• Performs all other duties and special projects as assigned
• Supplier communication and interaction
• Deaired, not needed: Knowledge of manufacturing, gaming machine components, processes, activities

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Engineering, Finance or related field.

• 2+ years in data mining experience or analytics experience
• 4+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects and programs with tight deadlines
• 4+ years of experience in product or process definition, having taken a product or process from concept to execution
• 4+ years of experience in data analytics role in a manufacturing environment
