Global Influencer Marketing Coordinator – NBA 2K

The Communications team manages all public relations and influencer marketing for 2K titles. What We Need:
A driven, socialable, influencer-centric professional looking to get in on the ground floor and execute campaigns for the highest-rated annual sports franchise of this generation, NBA 2K. This individual lives and breathes influencer relations and has experience working with gaming influencers across basketball and other sports genres, as well as lifestyle and celebrity influencers across YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram, and other relevant platforms. The right candidate is someone who follows the NBA closely, is knowledgeable of the key players in-and-around the space, and is plugged-in to the culture of basketball, both on-and-off the court. This individual is knowledgeable of the different modes within NBA 2K and has an understanding of the NBA 2K community.
What You Will Do:
- Reporting to the Global Influencer Marketing Manager based in Novato, California, you will serve as a primary tactician for all NBA 2K Live Service iniatives, as well as assist in influencer marketing campaigns worldwide, with a focus on supporting each new in-game season, as well as measuring and reporting ROI of activations.
- Serve as primary internal subject matter expert for all influencer marketing Live Service activations.
- Assits with driving tactical execution of local go-to-market campaigns in The Americas as a core part of a cross-discipline marketing and communications team.
- Build, maintain, and grow mutually beneficial long-term relationships with influencers and leverage those relationships in support of product go-to-market plans and on-going lifecycle management efforts.
- Monitor and analyze performance metrics for 2K’s influencer marketing campaigns and owned channel activations.
- Collaborate with Social Media Coordinator and colleagues as needed to provide compelling influencer-led content that will engage fans on our brands’ social media channels.
- Support the Community team and manage the Logo verification process
- Have a willingness to complete any other reasonable activity required by the Influencer Marketing Manager or the Communications team.
Who We Think Will Be A Great Fit:
2K is looking for an influencer marketing coordinator with a love for video games, and a personal passion for NBA basketball and the NBA 2K franchise. They have a long list of established relationships within the gaming and lifestyle influencer space and are experienced in leveraging those relationships in both a paid and earned capacity to drive demonstrable results that meet measurable objectives. They have experience with (or at least a strong interest in) taking a data-driven approach to their influencer marketing strategy. They are versed in and have experience working with social and content platforms like YouTube, Twitch, Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Twitter, and have collaborated closely with public relations and social media professionals in the past.
- 1-3 years of professional experience working with content creators, broadcasters, and/or social media influencers.
- Strong passion for videogames, especially sports simulation games.
- Excellent organization, interpersonal, and written and verbal communications skills. Ability to build strong, lasting professional relationships with internal partner groups and individuals.
- Strong PC skills, expert knowledge of Twitch/YouTube/Facebook/TikTok and each platform’s unique features.
- Friendly and supportive nature with a history of supporting creator growth.
- Drive to help assist in company growth and evolving processes.
