As the Global Head of Communications for Apex Legends, you are responsible for Apex Legends' global connections with our players, and our potential players – supported by your management of our Social Media, Influencer, Public Relations, and Core Community teams. You and your teams are the tip of the spear for activity outside of our games. You set the tone, craft the messaging, and develop innovative ways to drive awareness, excitement, and activity.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- You will report to the General Manager, Apex at Respawn Entertainment
- You understand and connect with current and potential Apex Legends players globally
- You shine a bright light on Apex Legends; help players understand who we are, what we're up to, and welcome them to our community
- You craft bold and innovative campaigns and strategies which delight players and confound competitors
- You steward the long-term, overarching narrative for Apex Legends that guides how we talk about our franchise across console, PC, mobile, competitive gaming, partnerships and more
- You consume and understand community feedback; distill and share highlights internally. As a key voice of the player - craft and champion appropriate recommendations
- You will lead and manage a team of twelve, including strong, experienced talent in four verticals: Social Media, Creator & Influencer Relations, Public Relations and Core Community
- You will build and maintain a strong, trust-based network of partners in-studio and within and outside the broader organization
QUALIFICATIONS:
Your demonstrated strengths include:
- Understanding and connecting with players
- A passion for achieving great things, and the corresponding drive to succeed
- Organizational and project leadership
- Cross-functional coordination and partnership
- Your background includes:
- 10+ years of marketing / communications roles in entertainment
- A winning record of building and executing global, multi-channel campaigns
- Experience in agencies, with influencer marketing, and in games (esp. shooters) all valued highly
US COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary ranges listed below are for the defined geographic market pay zones in these states. If you reside outside of these locations, a recruiter will advise on the base salary range and benefits for your specific location.

Salary offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, and business or organizational needs.
BASE SALARY RANGES
- California (depending on location e.g. Los Angeles vs. Sacramento):
º $157,450 - $245,500
- New York (depending on location e.g. Manhattan vs. Buffalo):
º $154,950 - $245,500
- New Jersey (depending on location e.g. Jersey City vs. Trenton):
º $154,950 - $245,500
- Colorado (depending on location e.g. Denver vs. Colorado Springs):
º $154,950 - $223,350
- Washington (depending on location e.g. Seattle vs. Spokane):
º $154,950 - $223,350
Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation at EA. We also offer a package of benefits including paid time off (3 weeks per year to start), 80 hours per year of sick time, 16 paid company holidays per year, 10 weeks paid time off to bond with baby (following 1 year of service), medical/dental/vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and 401(k) to regular full-time employees.
