Reporting to the VP of Global Marketing, the Global Event Manager is a key role within the 505 Games organisation. The post will play a central role in the vision, creation, and execution of our global event strategy.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Own the 505’s global event strategy covering corporate, consumer, and digital events
- In conjunction with the Global Heads of Comms & Brand, manage the global event calendar ensuring events are planned in accordance with product goals
- Design and manage large scale corporate events including GDC, E3 and Gamescom, working cross functionally with brand, creative services, and production teams
- Design and manage 505’s in-house digital showcases (twice a year)
- Manage the central budget for these physical and digital events
- Create global documentation and best practice for the local marketing teams
- Establish KPI’s and set goals against them for each initiative
Desired:
- A passion for gaming, and embedding yourself in our games
- A deep understanding of events for gaming across all mediums, including physical, digital, retail, partner and live streaming
- Extensive experience of working with key internal teams such as brand, community, marketing, creative services and game development, as well as external event production vendors
- Able to project manage complex event schedules with multiple workstreams
- Knowledge of industry trends with regards to events, content creation and live show productions
- Ability to set goals and evaluate performance against them
- Min 5-years’ experience in event management or related field
