As the Global Digital Marketing Manager for Battle.net, you will help launch and run new social media channels, partner with our CRM team to lead new digital marketing campaigns, assist in other marketing activities, and expand our reach to new audiences.

This position requires experience developing and executing a strategic approach to social platforms, managing creative production, as well as familiarity with audience development and email marketing campaigns.
Covid-19 Hiring Update: We’re currently in a work-from-home model , and we’re continuing to interview and hire during this time. This role is expected to begin as a remote position but will transition to at least a partial in-office position based out of Irvine, CA. We understand each person’s circumstances may be unique and will work with you to explore possible interim options.
Responsibilities:
- Lead social media strategy development and execution for Battle.net including, but not limited to: Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
- Assist in developing our Battle.net CRM strategy including email, text, voice, etc.
- Oversee the editorial calendar and publish content to the Battle.net social media channels
- Work with our CRM team to develop new promotions and upgrade existing campaigns such as the Battle.net new user flow
- Execute CRM experiments based on customer segmentation, messaging, content, promotions, etc.
- Oversee creation of marketing assets (e.g., banners, videos) for platform-wide, cross-franchise promotions, whether through our Creative Services or Video departments or on your own with available resources
- Work with our Growth Marketing team on marketing activities related to paid media support for Battle.net, including measurement and tracking of new users from paid media sources to engagement and monetization on Battle.net
- Collaborate with franchise, Blizzard, and Activision digital teams internationally, ensuring they are on board with global plans and are executing initiatives on strategy
- Work effectively with internal cross-functional teams including Commercial, Consumer Marketing, Growth Marketing, Public Relations, Events, and Partnerships to drive 360 campaigns
- Drive digital reporting for insights and delivery through the use of analytics and CMS tools including Sprinklr
- Utilize learnings to inform and support the creative approach to reach KPIs across platforms and campaigns
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience in social media at an agency or on the client-side
- Some experience working with CRM campaigns and paid media campaigns
- A healthy understanding of audience development and growth
- Proficiency in collaborating within a large organization
- Experience in providing creative feedback
- Highly organized with outstanding attention to detail
- Excellent verbal, organizational, and technology skills
- Knowledge of the latest platforms and technologies and desire to identify opportunities for strategic brand involvement
- Understanding of brand strategy and ability to write persuasive POVs
- Working knowledge of social platforms and associated analytics programs and tools like – Sprinklr
- Some basic photo or video editing skills is a big plus
