General Accountant

Working across all major platforms, in over 50 different languages, Keywords Studios delivers support for its clients across the globe.

The successful candidate will be required to support and process various aspects in the day-to-day accounting and treatment of various types of transactions.

To be considered, you must live in one of these states AR, AZ, CA, CO, FL, IL, MI, NV, NY, OR, TX, WA, WI.

This position is a Work-From-Home arrangement.

Key Responsibilities and Activities:

• Record journal entries and perform account reconciliations
  
• Responsible for all aspects of the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions;
• Effectively communicate and liaise with vendors, clients and other departments to resolve inquiries and discrepancies
• Follow up on late supplier payments and overdue accounts receivable balances to ensure prompt collection;
• Perform reconciliation with the accounts receivable and accounts payable sub-ledgers;
• Participate in month-end and year-end activities related to accounts receivable and accounts payable;
• Participate in monthly income analysis;
• Provide audit support as requested, including accumulating invoices and collections support;
• Other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

• 5 years of experience as a general accountant
• College / University degree in accounting or a similar field.

Technical skills :

• Advanced English – spoken and written;
• Experience with NetSuite (a definite asset).
• Well-organized with superior attention to details;
• Ability to prioritize, multi-task, problem solve and adapt to change;
• Ability to meet tight deadlines;
• Professional, responsible, and reliable self-starter;
• Respectful of confidential information.

• Strong working knowledge of the Office suite;
