Job Description:
- Design, develop and support tools in production pipeline
- Work with artists and designers to ensure tools are functioning properly
- Continuously improve the user experience and performance of tools
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, or related
- Two (2) years of experience in job offered, or as a Software Engineer, Core Engineer, or in a related occupation
- Require the following technical experience/expertise:
- 3D math skills including linear algebra and vector math
- Console or PC programming experience
- Experience in creating at least one of the following PC applications: level editor (actor placement, navigation meshes, particles, boundary regions, etc), art prototype catalogue/database, animation/cinematic editor, material/shader editor, plug-ins, build tools, data messaging tools, lighting tools
- Experience in using Maya Plug-in API, SQL, OpenGL, or CG/HLSL
- Ability to design, author, and maintain complex tools used in different parts of the production pipeline
