Job Description
- You will have an opportunity to participate in game development by making recommendations to improve user experience, engagement, retention and shareability and to better integrate in-game promotional events and marketing mechanisms.
- You can demonstrate that you authentically understand the fundamental concepts of game design and the user experience
- You can appropriately respond to a broad range of game-player feedback and questions on game forums
- As a pro-active member of the production team you will be able to articulate the concepts of the game and respond to the game community
- Your enthusiastic and 'can do' approach will enable you to support the branding and marketing projects for both the Gameloft Studio and its game(s).
- A confident communicator, you are at ease speaking at internal and external events, conference, game networks and PR meetings.
- You will be eager to promote Gameloft and its achievements and relevant local or state game events.
- You will be responsible for managing game, promotional and marketing assets approval with copyright owners (eg, Universal, Disney, Apple)
- You will have the ability to analyse the performance of your marketing campaigns and report to the production team and HQ.
- You will manage promotional asset creation for the game including trailers, web assets, screen shots, store descriptions.
- You will also report to the Studio Manager in Brisbane on a day-to-day basis, whilst being part of the global Gameloft team led by HQ in Paris
- You will work closely with the Studio team including the Creative Director, Art Director and Game Manager.
- You have an ability to provide creative ideas and solutions to marketing and branding of Gameloft Brisbane and its product.
- As a resourceful and digitally-minded marketing guru you will also understand the significant impact of social media and platforms such as Twitch as mechanisms for branding and building relationships with Gameloft's consumers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in consumer marketing, ideally in on-line marketing or social products;
- Knowledge and passion for video games from high profile games titles to casual social games and entertainment as a whole;
- Strong analytical skills with a meticulous mind;
- Creative spirit capable of creating innovative marketing programs that are result-orientated;
- Strong leadership and team-working skills;
- Ability to work with a wide range of profiles (business, game design, analysts, etc);
- Excellent creative writing skills of a very high standard
