Player Profile

  • Pursuing an associates , bachelors , or masters and graduating December 2024 – July 2025
  • Enrolled in a college or university that offers co-op programs
  • Available to participate in a co-op from June 17 th to December 13 th
  • Currently residing in the US or open to relocating oneself to the US
  • Exhibits learning agility; has the ability to think differently, and/or grasp and apply new skills and concepts
  • Approaches problems in a clear, well-organized, and solutions-oriented manner
  • Works well with others and contributes to team tasks
  • Able to effectively communicate problems, solutions, needs, or priorities
  • Is engaged, seeks to learn, and is able to manage time effectively
  • A passion for significantly impacting game development

Co-Op Opportunities

All Co-Ops will be conducted in-person . Hosting managers will determine when and how often Co-Op s work in the office Monday-Friday (living stipend provided to all Co-Op ).

Co-Op location: Albany, NY

Engine Engineering Co-Op : Work with the team that provides the main architecture on which our game is built. The engine team is responsible for many areas including but not exclusive to: UI/UX, Animation, VFX, Physics, Audio, Platform technologies, Pipelines, Performance and Stability, Threading and Streaming. Your role with us will be in helping to add new features, extend current technologies, and address bugs. All of which will greatly empower our team at large to make awesome content.

  • Proficient in C++
  • A strong understanding of data structures and memory management.
  • Prior exposure to a common game engine such as Unreal.
  • An eagerness to collaborate and interface with content creator teams.

Tools Engineering Co-Op : Work with the team that creates the tools that the team uses to build the content of Diablo IV. The Tools Team is responsible for many areas including but not exclusive to: UI/UX, Workflow Improvement, Data Manipulation, Data Management, Source Control Interactions, and Interfacing with DCCs (Digital Content Creation Tools). Our tools are the means through which all our developers realize their ideas. Your role with us will be to help us expand the possibility space.

  • Proficient in at least one programming language, preferably C#
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and working with large data sets
  • Passion for improving workflows and enabling the creativity of the Diablo team
  • Preference for students with previous experience in creating developer tools

In the U.S., the standard base pay range for this role is $20.00 - $50.00 Hourly. These values reflect the expected base pay range of new hires across all U.S. locations. Ultimately, your specific range and offer will be based on several factors, including relevant experience, performance, and work location.
